Takapuna Boating Club closed until further notice

Unfortunately, due to Covid 19 restrictions, Takapuna Boating Club will be closed until further notice.

This includes any related club activities and events.
This will include preventing access to the changing rooms and basement storage. This is necessary to prevent the risk of transmission though our facilities.

We expect to be able to open again in Alert Level 2, following all government guidelines regarding hygiene practices, physical distancing and contact tracing requirements.

In the meantime, our three office staff Kirsten, Brigitta and Danika will still be working from home so please don't hesitate to contact the club via email if you need anything- info@takapunaboating.org.nz
The plan over this period to is to continue to work towards the club's visions and goals to ensure that we come out of this lockdown full steam ahead.

We will continue to provide updates as well as hopefully ways to help you through this time via newsletters, our website and our Facebook page, so stay tuned.
Feel free to keep us informed of how you are keeping busy!

In the meantime, check out the Ministry of Health's tips to look after your mental wellbeing whilst stuck at home

Do you require support?

We have members who have put themselves forward to offer a helping hand to those who may need it, such as delivering groceries or anything else you may need.
Other support we could offer includes helping you get up to speed with technology and staying in touch, such as setting up a facebook page or facilitating online socialising opportunities.

If you are feeling vulnerable or at risk and would like some assistance from the club please contact Danika on 021 202 6154 or email info@takapunaboating.org.nz

Stay safe, look out for each other (from a distance) and follow all government guidelines to stop the spread of Covid 19.
The better we are at doing this, the sooner these restrictions will be eased.
